 Hi, I’m Heather Boyd—a Christian children’s picture book illustrator and writer who finds joy in the quiet corners of creation 🌿. Nestled in the suburban calm of Ontario, Canada, I’m often barefoot in the river water 💧, ruffling dog fur 🐶 and conversing with their people, and lingering along the forest floor on hikes with friends.

My work blends whimsical charm with tactile sincerity ✍️. Using a mix of traditional pencil and colored pencil—sometimes digital, always heartfelt—I leave just enough of the textured paper peeking through to remind you it was crafted by hand. Each piece is rooted in imagination and infused with spiritual depth ✨, celebrating the symbols, textures, and moments that stir wonder 💫.

I believe God’s grace is tucked inside the simplest things—a warm breeze , a child's giggle 🎈, the hush of a good story 📖. I create tales that are gentle, reflective, and restful... with a sprinkle of laughter 😄.
